To become a member of Honor Society you must be asked to join by a teacher, and have a 3.0 grade average. An incentive to earn good grades and show school spirit is provid- ed by Honor Society. The Key Club is a school organization sponsored by the local Kiwanis Club. The purpose of the Key Club is to provide community service and to help high school students develope in- itiative, leadership ability, and good citizenship practices. Dungeon and Dragons Dungeons and Dragons are a group of im- agenative group of teenagers who get together once a week to take on the roles of various medevil characters under the supervision of Ms. Hair. Eldorado Ski Club The Ski Club is a group of people with a common interest in skiing. The 84-85 club made several trips to Brianhead and a three day trip to Salt Lake City. Varsity uiz Day after day, the students at Eldorado High walk the halls in a stupor assuming, for the most part, everyone else is in the same condition. However, everyone is not. There are a select few, other- wise known as the Varsity Quiz team, who like to think of themselves as aware and alert to the happenings around them. Every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday these scholars meet for a question and answer session on things only scholars would know or care to know. Every Wednes- day, these scholars are loaded into various objects of transportation, or for you scholars - cars- and, under the supervision of Mr. Dave Clark, ushered to Channel 10 for a weekly game of questions and answers against other schools. Thesegames are taped and later shown on Channel 10 for public viewing. So, when stumped by a question you think you'll never answer, hunt down a varsity quiz member and ask him for herj. The International Thespian Society is an educational organization which aims to establish and advance standards of excellence in all phases of Theatre arts, and which aims to create an active and intelligent interest in theatre arts in secondary schools. The focus of the society has always been on the student - hisfher achievement, hisfher involvement and betterment of hisfher education in theatre arts. Thespian membership is granted for the performance of meritorious work in theatre arts which meets the general guide lines of the society. Throughout this and the following years the thespian society hopes to become a driving force in the Eldorado fine arts depart- ment. They have been active in this both cast and crew positions forthe Eldorado production of Grease, and plan to become active in many other facets of theatrical work. l l 1
