Girls' l it by O 1 5 1 Basketball , 5 i With 8 wins and 3 losses for the season, 4 wins and 1 loss for the Conference, the Girls' .I.V. Basketball team played a winning season. The coach of the team, Mr. Lazzarotto, feels that this is the best team he has ever coached. Being made of mainly freshmen, with a few sophomores, this team is expected to be the best team in the city by the time they reach their senior year. Mr. Lazzarotto believes that the team and managers hard work, dedication, and talent was responsible for this winning season. Volleyball Team practiced every day after school and their dedication was proven worthwhile. The J.V. Volleyball Team was the co-winner of the Sunrise division, with 10 wins and 6 losses for the season. Boys' Tennis The 1984-85 Boys' Tennis Team finished the season with a 1-9 record. The highlight of the season was their 20-8 vic- tory over Basic. The team captain was Steven Booze and the Most Valuable Player was Gary Dewitt. Girls' Tennis The Girls' Tennis Team competed against many tough teams this year, finishing with a 0- 12 record. The highlight of the season was the ad- vancement of the Most Valuable Player, Janice Mayeda and her doubles partner, Britta Carlson, to the Zone Tournament. The team captain was Tina Darling.
