To right the unrightable wrong, to love, pure and chaste, from afar. To try, when your arms are too weary, to reach the unreachable star! This is my quest, to follow that star, no matter how hopeless, no matter how far, To fight for the right without question or pause, To be willing to march into hell for a heavenly cause! And I know, if I'll only be true to this glorious quest, that my heart will lie peaceful and calm, When I'm laid to my rest. And the world will be better for this: That one man, scorned and covered with scars, Still strove with his last ounce of courage, to reach the unreachable stars, the unreachable stars! CLASS COLORS Blue and Silver CLASS FLOWER White Daisy CLASS MOTTO "Only a life lived for others is a life worth-whi1e." Foreword The almost deathly stillness of a class room during a test, the almost dulcet tones of the chorus singing a Christmas carol, the crunch at the line of scrimmage during a football game, the reading of the minutes by a club secretary during Activity Period, or the shrillwhine of a power saw in the shop mingled with the shouted laughter of children on the playground - these are a few of the myriad sounds heard in a school. They are brief, but they are a part of life, growing and diminishing, developing and shaping, forever varied. Hand in hand with life these sights and sounds, and hundreds more like them, play a role in the rnini-world of the 1970 REVUE. ff 2 , , 1 .V., Q .
