The Boys Federation has ably promoted an assisted the actlvltles of the boys In the high school It has helped these fellows understand and assume civic responsibilities and maintain for themselves hugh standards and morale Under the sponsorship of Mr George Phelps the Federation grew to become one of the finest organizations on the campus The officers for the past year have been President Jack Dennison Vice President Bill Norton Vice President Don Garrison Secretary Treasurer Jack Nelson Commissioner of Activities Eugene Smith Judge Sam Henrietta They had charge ofthe parking and traffic on the campus held school court sponsored the Mother-and-Sons football banquet and the an- nual sports carnival. The Boys Federation was also the originator of the Employment Service which has helped some fifty boys to find jobs. Miss Margaret Crosby, Mrs. Edith Irwin Purpose: To offer every E.U.H.S. girl a democratic medium through which to develop and express ideals of sympathy, fellowship, and loyalty to the highest interests of the school, the community, and the nation. Activities: Do you remember Luggage Day? The day the girls lugged the boys' books around? Or the day you donned your shortest dress for the Kid Party? Or the superb assembly featuring Mr. Brown's Commercial Orchestra and a fashion show? Or all the Christmas baskets that you brought cans of food for? Or the Midyear Fresh- man Party? Well, we could go on and on, but the Girls' League was responsible for all of these and many outstanding events.
