The blue and white Cougars of E.C.H.S. smashed against their opponents stubbornly enough to finish in a tie for second honor spot in league competition. Good condition along with the will to win proved to be a deciding factor in our favor. One of the main functions of the Girls' League is giving a S100 scholarship to a worthy Senior girl. There are various methods the girls use to raise money. This year they auc- tioned off miscellaneous cards, sold book .covers, crepe paper, membership cards. They also sold candy at the Senior Play. At Halloween the Girls' League put on High Jinx, a party iust for girls. The purpose of this is to assist the girls in getting acquainted. In February they put on a Sadie Hawkins Betty Klare Representative Frances Parsons Dance. to Student Council The season came to a successful close with an installation of officers at the Mothers' Day Tea. lgeggd Z!!
