HOLZER, NANCY LEE HOPSTER, PATRICIA ANN Nancy, who is a June graduate, came to us from El Cajon Valley High. Her hobbies are painting and riding horses. Her ambition is to obtain a job and .attend night school at San Diego J.C. Y Teens 1,2; Arehbearer 3; and CSF 3 were Nancy's activities. HOWARD. ROBERT CLAUSON HUNDHAUSEN, CANDACE M. “Candy” enjoys ice skating, danc- ing. and sports. Her ambition is to become a buyer for women's clothes. Prom Comm.; Priv. Comm.; Pep Club; Pom pon 1,2: Student Council 2: Norn. Conv. 2; and Y Teens 2,3 were Candy's activities. JAMES, PATRICIA LOUISE “Patti” has been active in Sr. Y Teens: Steering Comm. 3; ASH Dance Comm.; Elections Comm.: Gift Comm.; Choir 4: and Mano- ettes. Her ambition is to be a nurse. JENKINS, EARNEST CLARK Lettermcn’s Club 1,2,3; Cross Coun- try 1.2,3; Track 1,2,3,4: Science Club were “Jinxie’s” activities. His ambition is to become a chemical engineer. Leatherwork and chess take up his spare time. He plans to attend Brigham Young University after graduation. HUGHES. ALLEN C. JACKSON, CAROLYN SUE Carolyn, who was born in Manila, Arkansas, enjoys spending her spare time sewing, swimming, and riding horses. After graduation, Carolyn plans to attend J.C. and then be- come a secretary. 46

HKKLIHY, RONALD ARTHUR Ron enjoys photography. He fol- lows this hobby by belonging to the Photo Club. Ron gets his exercise by going out for track. A son of Lynn, Mass., Ron’s pet peeve is California. In Massachusetts he at- tended Peabody High, then El Cajon here. His only ambition is to graduate. HEUSLEIN. MIKK Mike was born somewhere in Cali- fornia seventeen years ago. He plans to graduate this June with the rest of the Senior class. Mike's favorite hobbies are women and hunting. Mike has come to El Cap from Grossmont High. HEIIIA. MARGARET LOUISE “Hammer” is the nickname that has been assigned to Marge by her friends. A Lynwood, Californian, she plans to go to S.I). Jr. College after graduation. Her favorite hobby is art. Marge is a Songleader: she is on the Ditch Day Comm.: Privilege Comm.: and the Social Comm. HERSKY, BONNIEVALE LOIS Dancing and Sonny are Bonnie’s two hobbies. Her future plans in- clude a Business College: work in the Civil Service and marriage. People who walk slow in the Hall and her little brother are her peeves. She is on the Council, Pep Club, and Sr. Comm. HOBBS, ELEANOR JEAN Custer, So. Dakota is Eleanor’s birthplace. She plans to attend a Beauty College and become a Beau- tician or telephone operator. She is on the Election Board, the Mono ettes. Mod. Dance: Annual Staff: Grad. Her hobbies are sewing and cooking. Getting up in the morning: especially for school bothers Eva a great deal. JONES, SHARON KAY Sharon likes to play tennis, read and draw in her spare time. She wants to be either an airline stew- ardess or a school teacher after a few years at State College. Sharon has lieen very active on all of the Sr. Comm.; on Sr. Council and as Treas. of FT A. Sharon dislikes con- ceited people who put on airs. KELLY, BEVERLY WAYNE Ciris’ League 2; Nom. Conv. 2,3: Pom Pon 3, Lieut. 4; Steering Comm. 3; Pal Conf. 3; Ternp. ASB Comm.; Editor Senior Sec. Annual: Marat on Conf. 23, were Bev’s ac- tivities. She enjoys reading, watch- ing basketball games and talking in her spare time. KELSO. JERRY KENNEY Jerry was liorn 17 years ago in England. Arkansas. In his spare time. Jerry likes to go hunting or fishing. He attended Grossinont for three years before coming to El Capitan. Jerry’s ambition is to be a highway patrolman and his pet peeve is that there are too many boys not enough girls. JONES, RICHARD ALLEN Track, hunting, and fishing take up a great deal of Richard's spare time. His ambition is to become a Baptist minister. Cross country and track were his activities. JOYCE. LA VERNE La Verne can’t stand people calling her by her last name instead of her first. She enjoys playing tennis, cooking, music, football games and baseball. La Verne hopes to have a husband, home and family in the future. She has been very ac tive in Pom Pon 3: Sr. Y Teens and Drama activities. KELLEY, NORMA CHARLENE Charlene, a native of San Diego, has been ac tive in Girls’ League at Grossmont. Pom Pon Corp., Sr. Y Teens and Sr. Comm, at El Cap. She likes swimming and tennis; she dislikes teachers who assign home- work on weekends. After attending Kelsey Jenny Business College she plans to become a secretary. KEPHART. W ALTER F. Before coming to El Cap. W alter at- tended El Cajon. He contrbuted much to the Palomar Conf. in his Jr. and Sr. years and to football this year. Walter was Commissioner of Sales his Sr. year here at El Cap. After graduation in June. Wal- ter plans to attend a college out of state. 47
