They have produced the handbook, the hig brother-hig sister system, citizenship week, two Student Body dances. the annual Car- nival, and three Student Body assemhly programs for the recreation and improvement of the students. The members of these two bodies have also improved the school's government in this last year. At the heginning of the year they sent representatives to a S.F.L. convention which made it possilmle to begin the sportsmanship trophy for the league. The Constitution Commit- teeis amendments were passed which provided for the lfxecutive Board and the Student Court. By joining the N . ent Council Associa- tions the Student Council has paved the way toward heconiing a more effective governing hody. These organizations send valuahle literature and have conventions h , . w ere thc student councils olutain helpful suggestions. ational and Regional Stud At the Woodland Conference, where we had one of the nine panels, the student leaders exchanged ideas with thirty-five other schools in discussions on various subjects pertaining to student life.
