To err is human ........ . This our counselors know only too well. On a typical day in our counseling office you may find Mr. Henry counseling a busy Senior, Mrs. Mayfield phoning a worried parent, Mrs. Mattingly going through her files, and Mr. Haynes writing out a call slipgfor a forgetful Freshman. Our counselors were the first people to return to school in the fall. They made sure that new students were in the right classes, tangled with the IBM machines, and attempted to relieve the tension in overcrowded classrooms. During the fall, winter, spring, and summer, these people are always on the job helping students make plans for the finest education possible. Mr. Haynes Freshman Counselor
