Melvin, B. Boswell. Provide Chance to Take Part in Activities During good weather the Tennis Club practiced every Saturday morning at the John Marshall courts. The c1ub's main purpose was to give instructions to beginners and practice to advanced players. The Golf Club, which was organized during Eisenhower's first year, remained popular. This year the club constructed a driving range just east of the school. Due to the all girl membership in the 4-H Club this year, the main emphasis was on homemaking projects.
