Under its direction, Superintendent John Shoemaker supervises our local educational program. Assisting him are Mr. Hugh Bish, in charge of Instruction, and Mr. John Elkins, of Personnel. It is the responsibility of these men, along with the school board, to create a strong and efficient organization through which our schools are regulated. Each arising crisis is met with intelligence and skill, and completed with careful, thought and consideration. Facult The men and women who serve on the Eisenhower faculty constitute one of the most important branches within our school. We take this opportunity to show our gratitude for the long hours and devoted study they have contributed toward each student. It is not an uncommon sight to observe the con- centrated efforts of a teacher and individual student long after the regular hours of school as they labor over the not quite understood problems or the make up lessons from a difficult course. They can be seen at the dances, athletic events, and var- ious other school functions. They are the club sponsors, the counselors for special perplexities, and the perfect aid for a haywire assembly that needs a little mending here and there. For their dedication and influence on the future of each student of E.H.S. we give this token of recognition and ap- preciation for jobs well done.
