Thus the story of graduation draws near its climax . .. And each senior . . . rpmains , . , is suddenly aware . .. of just how little time Another door has closed, and the year '65 is completed. The past 1YlO1'llllS will linger in our memories always, With their rememlirances of happy and yet nostalgic moments We shared as a school. But with the tears of departure, we must also recognize the chal- lenge of the future. There are roads ahead still untraversed, dreams unrealized, Worlds unconquered. It will he the responsibility of each individual to meet these challenges with the high standards exemplified by the Eisenhower people.

Adverti ing The enscribed name ulsawtoni' on our rings denotes the growing, bustling metropolis that encompasses Eisenhower. lt reminds us of a city that is al- ways on the move, always looking to the future and to greater heights and achievement. lt seems quite fitting and apropos that Eisenhower should be located in Lawton. Both names and synonymous with progress and high ideals. The following section of the 1965 Talon is devoted to the advertising of Lawton's merchants and businessmen. These business establishments are those that are interested in the enrichment of Lawton. They are also firms that are looking to the future. They realize that the students of today are their customers of tomorrow. Thus, they are eager to have you become familiar with their firms and the services that they have to offer. Many of the places of business that are included in this section will be familiar to our students. They are, perhaps, places that you have frequented via business transactions. They are a portion, an integral portion, of the city of Lawton, the city that built Eisenhower ,lunior-Senior High School. alia f' - .V V Q0 - 4 .
