Sport We have chosen the 'LWinged Footi' emblem from our ring to symbolize the Athletic Department of Eisenhower. This is one of the main sources of the enthusiastic support and ageless spirit that surrounds the Eagle domain. Through the seasonal games of football, basketball, track, baseball, tennis and golf, the staunch abilities of the Eisenhower teams have gained only the highest of state recognition and respect. It isn't all victory, however. Defeat comes hard and agonizingly to the young Eagles. But through their loss also comes a sense of conquest. For they have obtained a private triumph that will not disappear with the diminishing crowds. They have gained an experience from their attempts and even their failures, an experience that will direct them toward future victories and somehow mark the formation of character in the ideals epito- mized by the Eisenhower men. g g r ,.
