High School Student Council The High School Student Council began the year with a Hi Dance. This was to renew old friendships and to welcome the arrival of all newcomers to E.H.S. Student Council activities of 196114-65 also marked the begin- ning of the City Activities Council, the dedication of the Victory flag, and the creation of our Alma Mater. All club constitutions were read, criticized and made official. Twirp Week and the Spring Dance were sponsored by the Student Council. Eisenhower assisted Lawton High School in hosting- the State Student Council Convention. Representing us were Chuck Lytle, Lana Gomez, George Sellers, and Jeni Jackson. Most memorable to many was the Coronation of our first All-Sports Queen, Jinny Coffin. The assembly Coronation program was under the supervision of your Student Council. Composed of elected representatives from each homeroom, and officers of all clubs and organizations, the Eisenhower High School Student Council is advancing quickly, creating an admirable reputation for our school, its standards, and its people. The City Activities Council was formed only this year. Together with delegates from Lawton High School, and Douglas High School, our representatives meet each month to bring out subjects of interest and combine their efforts toward inter-school affairs and relationships.
