Spanish Club Organized to promote a better understanding of the Spanish language and people, the Spanish Club has grown steadily under the sponsorship of Mrs. Vera Tippens. The colorful Fiesta of the Spanish Club provided an unforgettable event in this year's activities. Costumes portrayed the gay customs of the Mexican people, and the theme of the Fiesta centered around the conventional colors and decorations common throughout old Mexico. Tri-Hi-Y The Tri-Hi-Y organization is directed by Miss Lorene Bendure and Mrs. Ruth Dishman. Formed only this past year, the new club serves as a basic instruction course linking the practice of Christian principles to the political world of legisla- ture. The sessions on Pre-Legislature and Legislature were attended this year in Norman and Oklahoma City, respectively. The Tri-Hi-Y is composed only of girls dedicated to the ideals and standards exemplified in the club constitution. Their goals include an expansion in friend- ship, political knowledge, and a better understanding of themselves.
