DEBBIE HORTON The Eisenhower Band has chosen Debbie Horton to serve as its Outstanding Member for this year. Debbie is a member of the All-State Orchestra, the Lawton Philharmonic Orchestra, and several music organiza- tions throughout the city. Debbie is a conscientious worker in all that she endeavors. Such qualities have caused the Band members to consider her worthy of this tribute. JOHNNY MAYES Johnny Mayes is the 1965 Outstanding Member of the Future Business Leaders of America. He is a member of Thespians, Key Club, and Student Coun- cil. Johnny also served as a host during the North Central visit last January. He is president of F.B.L.A. and a crew member of the play, Tammy Tell Me True. PAT RUSSELL Pat Russell was selected by the An Club for her dedicated work in the various Art Club projects. Being President, Pat has written on her own, the con- stitution for the newly formed Club. She is also a member of Student Council, French Club, and Thes- pians. Due to her sincere efforts in each of these organizations, Pat has been chosen the Art Club's Outstanding Student. F AY REYNOLDS Fay Reynolds is the Outstanding Member of the Distributive Education organization. Fay is an able participant in various activities throughout the school. She serves as secretary in the Distributive Education Club, and works in several committee and extracurricu- lar programs.

SHIRLEY HUGHES The newly organized Tri-Hi-Y has chosen Shirley Hughes as its most Outstanding Member. Demonstrat- ing the qualities of intelligence, leadership, and a wonderful personality, Shirley has made herself not only an asset to the organization she represents here, but also an invaluable component of the school in general. Shirley is a member of Student Council, Pep Club, French Club, and serves as president for Tri-Hi-Y. RAY GONZALES Ray Gonzales was chosen as the most Outstanding Member of the Spanish Club because of his helpful attitude and the great initiative in his work. Through his efforts in Spanish Club, Student Council, Athletics, and various other activities, Speedy has demonstrated his leadership ability in these and other activities within Eisenhower. MIKE THOMPSON Mike Thompson serves as vice-president of the Na- tional Honor Society. He is a1so.involved in Thespians where he holds the office of vice-president this year. Mike was in the casts of Tammy, Tell Me True, and the Diary of Anna Frank. He has worked dili- gently all year, undertaking the tremendous respon- sibility of the Book Nook management, and has proven himself extremely capable of personifying the true qualities of N.H.S.: scholarship, leadership, and serv- ice. CHARLA BRYSON The Vocal Music Department has selected Charla Bryson to represent its musical talents and abilities. Besides holding the office of President in the High School Mixed Chorus, Charla was the student director of Eisenhower's first opera, Amah1 and the Night Visitors. She has further contributed to the school by participating in Thespians, Pep Club, Student Coun- cil, and by being Secretary-Treasurer of the first senior class of E.H.S.

VINCE SMITH Vince Smith has been chosen the Outstanding Member of the Patriot Staff for his diligent work and long hours of service toward the publication of the school newspaper. Largely due to his personal ef- forts, Eisenhower now boasts a printed edition of the Patriot. Vince is also active in Thespians, Key Club, E Club, Student Council, and Athletics. CHERYL SMITH Cheryl Smith has been selected as the Outstanding Student for high school Pep Club. She holds the office of president in Pep Clubg she participates in Student Council, Thespians, and is a crew member of the Diary of Anna Frank. Cheryl is also the re- porter for the senior class. She is an active member in several other organizations within the school, and has contributed wholeheartedly her time and ability to E.H.S. JUDY BERRY Judy Berry was selected as the Outstanding Student of the Talon Staff. Because of her sincere devotion to the yearbook and her untiring efforts to meet each deadline, the staff members voted to bestow this honor on Judy. She has participated in Student Coun- cil, Pep Club, and is a member of the National Honor Society. She is the Society Editor of the Patriot, and is the 1965 Talon Editor. RONN IE PATTON The Key Club has chosen Ronnie Patton because of his dedication and service to the Key Club. He serves as vice-president of this organization and is also a member of French Club, Band, and the Future Scientists of America. Contributing greatly 'through these various school activities, Ronnie personifies the qualifications of an Outstanding Student.
