CHRIS ELLEDGE Chris Elledge represents the High School Stu- dent Council as their Outstanding Student of 1965. As the chairman of the Student Council Building and Grounds Committee, he has directed an excellent school clean-up campaign. Chris is a member of Student Council, and serves as presis dent of the Thespian Society. He was Student of the Month in January, and a student host during the North Central Evaluation visit. Chris is also a cast member in the plays, Wllammy Tell Me True, and the Diary of Anna Frank. Eisenhower High School DEBBIE MCLEAN The Thespian Society has selected Debbie McLean as its most Outstanding Member. Debbie has been instrumental in many activities surround ing Eisenhower. She is an energetic worker in Thespians, N.F.L., she served as a Student Coun cil Convention Hostess this past year and was a member of the casts of both 'Tammy Tell Me True and the Diary of Anna Frank.

Q . . Ct1V1t1CS The laurel leaves on the rings is symbolic of school life at Eisenhower. It denotes unity, cooperation, victory, and the joyous times that many of us have spent during the extracurricular activities that represent another facet of life at Eisenhower. As exemplified in the next few pages, a student is almost certain to find a club or organization related to his or her particular field of interest. Here at Eisenhower there is something for everyone. Perhaps we have such a unified student body because each individual can strive for personal fulfill- ment through a myriad of school activities. Some of the scenes depicted on the following pages will not be familiar to some, and may not have meaning to everyone. But they illustrate sublimely, many treasured and cherished moments. The scenes are self-explanatory. They demonstrate the many wonderful and happy moments to be remembered that we, Eisenhower students, have had the pleasure of sharing, together. Q si? all

PATSY BASSEL Patsy Bassel has filled the position of Secretary in Latin Club this past year. She is also Secretary-Treas- urer of the Sophomore Class and a participant in several organizations throughout the school. Combining the qualities of leadership and scholarship with a warm personality, Patsy has been chosen as one of the 1965 Outstanding Students representing Eisenhower. utstanding Students ' 65 JERRY CHURCHWELL The E Club has chosen Jerry Churchwell as its Outstanding Member because of his warm enthusiasm and devotion to the Eagle reputation. Jerry is the only four sport letterman at Eisenhower, an active member of the Patriot Staff, the Key Club, and holds the position of flankerback on this year's football team. He is also the 1965 vice-president of the E Club. SUE AMENDE The Eisenhower French Club has chosen Sue Amende as its most Outstanding Member. As vice-president Sue has attended faithfully all meetings and activities, and her willingness to work has helped to make many of the French Club projects possible. Sue is an enthusiastic member of several organizations within the school, and she has proven herself a great asset to the standards upheld by E.H.S.
