CHEERLEADERS: L. Percival, D. Manuel, S. Bloemer, P. Ooton, J. Percival. D. Shaw. 3 , The evening's program was divided between six different in- dividuals. Coach Ball introduced the freshman team. Coach Fuelle presented the unbeaten sophomores and junior varsity teams, Mrs. Freese gave the cheerleaders their letters. Coach Deterding handed out the varsity letters, The prin- cipal speaker was the head basket- ball coach at L, S.U. - Frank Truitt. Gene Niccum was the master of ceremonies for the event. This year's captain presented the cooks a plant on behalf of the team. R. Arnold gets his varsity letter for this season. 4. 9l

Four boys won the highest honors at the banquet. Two sophomores, F. Holland and G. Meyers, won the scholastic award to- gether with a 3. 17 average. J. Klosterman was named the captain of next year's team, Our 6'6 all stater, Pat Fitzsimmons, walked away with three awards. He was named most valuable player of the seasong he won the free throw awardg he was awarded the Mr. Basketball trophy for the third straight year.
