What is cross country? Few students know the answer to this question. In short, cross country is a running sport in the fall of the year. It is different from track in that the course is across the country, not on an oval track, Runners usually jog between 1.8 or 2.0 miles over hills, through fields, and on roads, Most of our home meets are scheduled in and through the community park.
