Homecoming Weekend October 1 - Homecoming is perhaps the most exciting, hardest worked for, and most enjoyable activity of the school year. Friday afternoon, marching bands, decorated cars, and colorful floats modeled after the theme of Alice in Wonderland began our festivities. Friday night our foot- ball team, backed by yelling cheerleaders and a huge student body, provided a glorious 34 to 12 victory over Hillsboro. Saturday evening the weekend was highlighted by the annual Homecoming Dance, this year based on the theme Alice in Wonderland. To all those who gave their time and effort in the long weeks of preparation go the greatest rewards - a most wonderful 1965 Homecoming.
