This deeply moving tale of love and jealousy is told through the memories of a nun who was once a member of Miss Brodie's ‘set’ of pupils. Anne Long was cast as the controversial Miss Brodie, Tracy Enos portrayed the straight-laced Miss MacKay and Kenny Jacobs was the playboy Mr. Lloyd. Other cast members included Tricia Howell, Cheryl St. Pierre, Deanna Savoca, Eric Barker, Jennifer Huch, Phil Eibeck, Dee Brickner, Rick Harmon and Susanna Woodard. They were under the direction of Mrs. Lea Mainer Ak 208 YU E rr — U S rm o Y E © — YU Tennessee Williams’ play “‘A Lovely Sunday for Creve Coeur’ was selected for this year’s contest play. It is a story of four lonely women striving for inter-personal rela tionships. The production placed first in District competi tion and then second in Sectionals, qualifying for State. CAST Dee Brickner — Dorothea Susanna Woodard — Bodey Jennifer Huch — Miss Gluck Ann Schwarz — Helena @ production not to be ‘‘quacked' " at Drama Club delighted audiences with a fine production of Stephen Schwartz's complex musical comedy “Pippin.” “Pippin” is a musical with a frame, a story within the actual play. The actors are portraying a dance troupe, which is portraying the life of Pippin. Demetrius Shaw, as the Leading Player, kept the audience informed and alleviated confusion caused by the frame. Matt Clark led the cast as the naive Pippin. Trying to find himself, he goes to his fun-loving grandmother, por- trayed by Jennifer Huch, who tells him to do what he thinks is right. As leader of a revolution, Pippin kills his father, King Charles, played by Scott Skief. Kitty Garder, as Pippin’s two-faced wicked step mother Fastrada, tries to cause problems for him at every turn, attempting to win the throne for her son Lewis, played by Doug Dial. In a final attempt to find himself, Pippin discovers the widow Catherine, played by Anne Long, and her young son Theo, by Nate Mainer, realizing the true meaning of family love. The musical progressed with lively singing, dancing, and excellent special effects. 211 We’ve Got Magic to Do. ... Just for You Mrs. Gregor Wins First Prize!
