B.A. English Born in Auburn, Maine. Prepared at Edward Little High School. Was graduated from Bates College with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Has taken several summer courses at Bates College. Attended summer school at the University of Nlaine, l9l5g at Bates summer school in 1919. In Maine, she has taught in Mechanic Falls, Lisbon Falls, Livermore Falls, at Edward Little, and at Deering. In Massachusetts, she taught in Beverly, Hyannis, and West Newbury. She returned to Edward Little in 1943. Faculty adviser for Station E, I.. II. S l MRS. AMY F. ASHTON Business Machines, Office Practice Business Mathematics. Typewriting Born in Lewiston, Maine. Prepared at Lewiston High School. Was graduated from the Normal Training Course at the Auburn Maine School of Commerce, Auburn, Maine. Attended the summer session of the Auburn Maine School of Commerce in 1948. Taught at Standish High School, Sebago Lake, Maine, before coming to Edward Little in 1948. She is one of the faculty advisers of the Assembly Board and of the Stl!- dent Council. Serves as treasurer of the Cafe teria Fund and the Edward Little High School Parents' Musical Association. 1 MISS NANCY BARTHELEMY, B.S. Physical Education for Girls Born in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Came to Edward Little in 1944. ls an adviser of junior boys and sponsor of the Key Club and Outing Club. FREDERICK BRYANT Related Work and Mechanical Drawing Born in Malden, Massachusetts. Prepared for teaching industrial arts at Bradley Polytechnic Institute. Attended summer sessions at Colum- bia, Harvard, Bates, Bradley, and Gorham. Vocational experience in pattern making, carpentry, and drafting. Taught six years in Saco. Came to Edward Little in 1919. Has charge of the industrial arts and vocational departments. Born in Gardner, Massachusetts. Was gradu-, ated from Gardner High School. Was graduated from Cushing Academy and Bates College. He taught at Webster Junior High School, and was a freshman coach at Bates College. Served four years in the army before coming to Edward Little in the spring of 1946. Attended Clark University Summer School. MRS. ELIZABETH H. BOWEN. B.A. Born in Manchester, New Hampshire. Prepared at Brockton High School, Massachusetts. Was graduated from Colby College, where she re- ceived a Bachelor of Arts Degree. At Colby she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and of the Sigma Kappa Sorority. Has taken several courses at Teachers' College, Columbia Univer- sity. Taught at Morse High School, Bath, Maine, and at Ossining School for Girls, Ossin- ing, New York, before coming to Edward Little in 1930. Faculty adviser of Library Proctors' Club. Page Eleven
