B.A. English Born in Auburn, Maine. Prepared at Edward Little High School. Was graduated from Bates College with a Bachelor of Arts degree. Has taken several summer courses at Bates College. Attended summer school at the University of Nlaine, l9l5g at Bates summer school in 1919. In Maine, she has taught in Mechanic Falls, Lisbon Falls, Livermore Falls, at Edward Little, and at Deering. Taught at Standish High School, Sebago Lake, Maine, before coming to Edward Little in 1948. She is one of the faculty advisers of the Assembly Board and of the Stl!- dent Council. Prepared for teaching industrial arts at Bradley Polytechnic Institute. Attended summer sessions at Colum- bia, Harvard, Bates, Bradley, and Gorham. Vocational experience in pattern making, carpentry, and drafting. Taught six years in Saco. Came to Edward Little in 1919. Has charge of the industrial arts and vocational departments. Born in Gardner, Massachusetts. Was gradu-, ated from Gardner High School. Was graduated from Cushing Academy and Bates College. He taught at Webster Junior High School, and was a freshman coach at Bates College. Served four years in the army before coming to Edward Little in the spring of 1946. Attended Clark University Summer School. MRS. ELIZABETH H. BOWEN. B.A. Born in Manchester, New Hampshire. Prepared at Brockton High School, Massachusetts. Was graduated from Colby College, where she re- ceived a Bachelor of Arts Degree. At Colby she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and of the Sigma Kappa Sorority. Has taken several courses at Teachers' College, Columbia Univer- sity.
