Seventeen Mr. Russell Wenzlau, Superintendent Charles S. Meek, Miss May Foster, Mr. Ralph Dugdale. Every great corporation needs a central executive committee and so our school system needs a guiding group, properly fitted to carry on the necessary work. Toledo schools are fortunate in having as their central force a Board of Education, which is known to he one of the most pro- gressive groups of its kind in this section of the state. At the head We find Dr. Norris Gillette, who is well Htted for the task that is his. Working with him are Mr. Harry Haskell, Mr. Paul Manton, Mr. George Mc- Kesson, and Mr. Grant Murray. The position of superintendent of schools is competently held by Mr. Charles S. Meek, Whose faithful work of past years commands our respect and admiration. Assisting him is Mr. Ralph Dugdale, with Mr. Russell Wenzlau capably filling the position of director of schools. Miss May Foster, as clerk of the board, completes the organization.

WILLIAMS There never has been a time when we at Libbey have not appreciated the personality and administrative ability of our principal, yet during the past year while we have seen him so Wonderfully recovering his health and strength after his illness that caused so much anxiety to all of us, we realize more and more what he has meant to us and are doubly appreciative of his guidance and help. Tireless in his efforts to keep the machinery of the school running smoothly, kind and judicious in his dealings with everyone, Mr. Williams is the embodiment of all that we admire in a man, an executive, and a friend.
