Kldlll Cfaaa .Mafory One bright, sunny morning in September l9h7, twelve red eyed boys and girls were gathered in the First Grade roon of Edson Consolidated School Miss Dorothy Evert welcomed the group As we look bacx on it now, it was really a soft year, since we were allowed to lay our tlny heads on the desks for fifteen minutes every afternoon Our group consisted of Gary Peters, Larry Burk, Elaine Owens, Shlrley Dallas, Avonell Bennett, Hazel Somers, Eileen Parker, Bonnie Robin son, Loretta Adolph, Bonnle Sieca, Larry Strange and Gary Meyers We survived our first year and decidet it wasn't so bad and went back to the second year We lost Bonnie Sieck and gained Barbara Chambers, Jerry Chambers, Loretta Goalden, Glynda Jacobs, and Ellen Parish We were under the super vision of Mrs Chatfield The next tow years Mrs Neaderhiser was our teacher I our third year we lost Barbara and Jerry Chambers, Loretta Adolph, and Ellen Parish However, Ronnie Musil came t stay with us The sixth year w had Mrs Speicher and for the seventh grade we had Mrs Schmidt Under the supervision of Mrs Trueblood, we journeyed through the eighth grade Troy Trueblood became a new mem ber of our group during this year At last, we reached the first steppingstone, our eighth grade graduation Then we found ourselves entering the gates of high school e were at last Freshmen and just as green as thosebdbre We were met at the top of the stairs by upperclassmen while they were smearing us wlth lipstick and tying our hair in ribbons During this year of adventure we lost Troy True Bill Callahan We chose for our class officers Presldent, Gary Peters, Vlce President, B111 Callahan, Secretary, Hazel Somers, Treasurer, Larry Strange Mr Bachus was our sponsor when we advanced to Sophomores we elected President, Gary Peters, Vice Presldent, Ronnie Musil,Secretary and Treasurer, Elaine Owens, Reporter, Elleen Parser Mr Brokesh was our sponsor Our Junior year was one of our best years Our officers were President, Gary Peters, Vlce President, Ronnie Musil, Secretary and Treasurer, Hazel Some s Reporter, Elaine Owens Mr Lantz and Mrs Nimz were our class sponsors we ordered olr class rings this year, and thought they were the best ones ever chosen Our Jun1oraSenior Prom was wonderful We had lots of fun decorating Our theme was Paradise of the Deep At last we reached the top of the ladder As Seniors, Gary Peters was oar President, Ronnie Musil, Vice President, Eileen Parker, Secretary and Treasurer Hazel Somers was chosen for Student Council Mr Lantz waw our class sponsor We gained a new member this year He was Floyd Pittman we also lost Loretta Goalden and Bonnie Pbbinson Q u 0 0 . . n A. . , O w ll ll . us. blood and Larry Strange and gained and lost Jim Line and P 5
