supplement audio-visual equipment In our advanced technological society, with the emphasis on subject matter, a knowledge explosion has been talcing place. Today’s modern library must not only concern itself with books, but with slides, films, projectors, tapes, tape recorders, microfilm, and reader-printers. It must have an audio-visual distribution center, library classrooms and conference rooms. However, the staff of Edsel Ford feels their concerned efforts to cope with today’s needs are somewhat stifled by a lack of space, an understaffed library, and a lack of necessary funds. Edsel Ford students take advantage of available audio-equipment, such as the wireless listening device, and peruse periodicals always on file. 25
