BUSINESS EDUCATION Department adds Data Processing Data Processing, the newest business course offered, involves the wiring of boards, the sorting and punching of cards, and the processing of information. A new workroom, B-100, maintains the new Data Processing machines. Three classes meet each morning under the direction of Miss Pituch and Mr. Feusse, in which students are taught how to operate the key punch, the sorter, the accounting machine 402, and the reproducer; all of which compute various problems. With the increased use of computers today, students who plan to make computer programming their work find this course valuable. Accuracy is an essential part of key punching Completing a class assignment. Dennis Olson processes information onto IBM cards and at the same time increases his ability to operate the key-punch machine. 16
