One of Mr. Schreiber’s most important concerns is the installation of modem audio visual devices. The library listening equipment is one of these. Finding a rare moment to take a break “together are three EFsecretaries: Mrs. Dorothy Kurtz, whose primary responsibilities are to Mr Schreiber; Mrs. Lorraine Young, who works in both the main and student offices; and Mrs. Ann Bavier. who. handles teacher substitutes. ADMINISTRATION Changes include assistant “People learn in different ways.” These words form the guidelines of Principal Frederick Schreiber’s philosophy. Living proof of this maxim includes new library equipment, providing a variety of audio-visual techniques. In addition, he hopes to see Edsel Ford on a variable schedule with time for block periods, lectures, and small discussion groups. But such re-scheduling would never happen if it were not for Assistant Principal Ross Slabaugh, who this year scheduled the greatest number of students to attend EF. Exercising control over the “working” of such a plan would be Mr. Robert Fedoruk, newest administrator. Edsel Ford’s assistant principal, Mr Robert Fedoruk. assumes one of his many new responsibilities, supervising school activities, as he helps Mr. Stanley Smith collect sophomore Mark Nadas’ Welcome ticket. 12

ART LeVeque takes sabbatical leave New materials and techniques enrich the art program. For example. Art 2, a ceramic unit, allows students to create ceramic jars with lids and to learn to prepare their own glazes, creating individualistic colors. In the graphic art classes, multicolored block prints 3re replacing the traditional single color prints. While on sabbatical leave, Mr. Robert LeVeque, in addition to continuing his studies in New York, will travel to Europe and photograph paintings for the humanities. Finally, Mrs. Judy Garber, who is replacing Mr. LeVeque, has introduced the combination of the relief and intaglio processes in the graphic art units. By adding the third color to his multi-colored print, Jim Parchert completes one of the projects in graphic arts. The mundane can sometimes stifle creativity. Mr. Ralph Hashoian searches for a box of staples as Lynda Hart wick laughs at his dilemma. 14
