EDON HIGH SCHOOL COOKS AND CUSTODIANS Edon High School is fortunate to have Donna Price, and Millie Luke in the kitchen. They prepare such delicacies as Lasagne, Salisbury Steak, Fried Chicken, Tacos, Pumpkin Custard, Ginderbread, and Peach Delight. This year a Milk Shake Machine was added operated by Junior Lloyd. He always seemed to have business. Donna has worked in the E.H.S. kitchen for five years and Millie, 10 years. Both enjoy bring with the students. The Janitors, in charge of building main¬ tenance, need to be handy, handy men. Dayton has been at Edon High School since before the addition was added to the school, but Junior has only been with the system for five years. They also double as bus drivers as do Larry Hug and Robert Reamsnyder. Ron Schuller is a night watchman and janitor. He also opens the school on Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons for community use. Ron remembers a frustrating yet amusing moment with the schools heating system. Late one cold winter night, the heating system refused to work properly. Ron, assisted by Dayton, Junior and Superintendent, Kent Adams, were adjusting a relief valve over Mr. Fritz ' s office. Mr. Adams took over the adjusting and turned the valve a bit too far. Water flowed out and Mr. Adams got soaked! Even with those few dismaying moments, all the janitors enjoy their jobs and the students at Edon High School. Cooks, Donna Price and Millie Luke, happily prepare lunch. Eighth Grade Cheerleaders: Lisa Schaffter, Lisa Miller, Kim Seegert, captain, and Lori Wagner. The eighth grade cheerleaders were chosen last October by a panel of Junior High Teachers. Kim Seegert was chosen captain and Tammy Rehmert, seventh grade captain, was eighth grade alternate. They cheered at all Eighth Grade Games, helped with a high school football half-time show, and helped sell cake tickets at high school basketball games. Among the amusing moments of the season, the girls did a cheer to present the team and the boys didn ' t come out of the locker room. JR. HIGH CHEERLEADERS Seventh Grade Cheerleaders: Teena Kissinger, Cindy Brigle, Barb Hoffman, and Tammy Rehbert, captain. The seventh grade cheerleaders were chosen in October along with the eight grade cheerleaders. Two individual cheers were required and one group cheer. Tammy Rehmert was chosen captain, with Barb Long chosen alternate. The girls cheered all seventh grade basketball games which were held after school. At one game Cindy Brigle became upset with a fellow cheerleader and threw her Pom-Poms at Barb Hoffman. Despite this amusing incident, the boys had a winning season. 81
