The Sophomore class consists of seventy- eight students. There are thirty-nine boys and thirty-nine girls. One of the many things the Sophomore ' s look forward to is making a float for the Home¬ coming. They worked on the float at Joe Wolfe ' s Garage under the advisement of Mr. Caris. Kenny Siebenaler furnished the tractor, the wagon, and his driving ability. Another thing the Sophomore ' s look forward to is ordering their class rings. They ordered them on October 8th and received them on March 12th. They were all very excited to receive them. There are thirty-nine boys and thirty-nine girls. The most important event of the year for Freshman is decorating a float for the Home¬ coming. This year they won second with a float depicting, Sink the Hamilton Marines. Mr. Jerdonek, class advisor, was busy with the football team and asked Miss Pollock to help with the float. They worked on the float at Nickie Mohre ' s home. Nickie ' s pet goat, Muisance, tried to get into the action. While the Freshman were busy working on the float, Nuisance was busy working on the tail lights of Mr. Jer- donek ' s car and Miss Pollock ' s purse. Both were recoved before any real damage was done, but many Freshman will long remem¬ ber the helpful boost given by Nuisance.
