A familiar sight in the library this year was the overdue book Iist. LIBRARY CLUB The Library Club consists of fifteen members. These industrious people helped in the library this year by straightening shelves, running errands, checking out books, and updating the nortorious wanted list-those people having overdue books. The club spon¬ sored several book fairs during the school year featuring a special section of books for teachers. They also enjoyed a Christmas party at Mrs. Cukjertson ' s home complete with a visit from Santa Claus. Dennis Curry, Mr. and Mrs. Marion Curry, Jim Wuebben, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wuebben enjoy the FFA Banquet. FHA King, Milt Nester congratulates FFA Queen, Deb Held. FUTURE FARMERS OF AMERICA The Edon Future Farmers of America Chapter was very active this year. Officers this year were Milt Nester-President, Dennis Curry-Vice President, Dan Hug-Secretary, Jim Wuebben- Treasurer, Dave Wehrle-Reporter, Doug Wehrle -Student Adviser, and Reggie Reed-Sentinal. The chapter was represented at several FFA agricultural activities. Five members attended State FFA Camp Muskingum in Carolton, Ohio, and two members attended the State FFA Con¬ vention. They were also represented at Bowling Green High School at a National FFA Officers visitation. All officers attended an Officers Training Seminar at Bryan High School. The entire chapter went to the Farm Science Re¬ view at Columbus, Ohio, and an open house at Siebenaler Equipment in Bryan, Ohio. They had many fund raising projects this year including paper drives, lining the football field, and farming fifteen acres of land rented from Hershel Skiles. They also entered a float in the Homecoming Parade which won first place. In March they held their annual Parent- Member Banquet and honored Deb Held, FFA Queen. NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY The annual induction into the Edon Chapter of the National Honor Society was held April 21, 1976 at 9:00 a.m. Ten members of the Junior Class and two members of the Senior Class were inducted. To be eligible, a student must maintain a 3.2 point grade average in scholarship and must also have demonstrated outstanding character, leadership and service to the community.
