COMMENDABLE SEASON The Varsity Basketball team fin¬ ished in the middle of what would have to be considered possibly the best Class A League in Ohio. Four Seniors, Floyd Goshorn, Kevin Skiles, Lynn Smith, and Randy Thiel, were among the starting five with only one returning starter, Randy Thiel. Randy Thiel broke the single game scoring record with a 35 point burst at North Central. He also broke the single season scoring record set last year by Steve Bowling. Faced with inexperience and against exceptionally fine com¬ petition, the Bombers made a very commendable showing in the 75-76 season. VARSITY AND RESERVE BASEBALL This years varsity baseball team consisted of four Seniors and almost all sophomores. The winning star pitcher for this year was Curt Stantz who won the only winning game the team had. Luckily it was the first Tournament game against Fayette 17-3. The star hitter was Randy Thiel who had a average of 451. Randy also had the most RBI ' s for the team, and also led the team with the most hits. The Reserve Baseball team did well with a season record of 5-4. Randy Thiel, No. 15, trying to get a Fairview man out at third.
