One of the many highlights of the 1975-76 season was October 19 when Edon hosted the Tinora Rams. With 2 minutes to go, Al Lupien blocked a Ram punt and Gary Bowling ran for a TD making the score 7-6. He then ran in for a two pt. conversion to make it 8-7, in the Bombers favor. Neil Bowling intercepted, with 46 sec¬ onds to go, a pass. And time ran out on the clock giving Edon another victory. The Reserves had a similar occurance on Saturday, Oct. 18 when they over came the Edgerton Bulldogs with 2 minutes to go. A pass was thrown from Gary Bowling to Gary Gearhart who ran for 70 yards and a Touchdown. With one minute left on the clock, Kerry Matthews scored a 2 pt. conversion and Bombers won 8-7. This was the first year Edon had a Reserve team in 4 years. Dan Ely is escorted off the field by Coaches Puegeot and Kaufman with an arm i nj ury.
