Jeff Alwood in Industrial Maintenance. 16 FOUR COUNTY VOCATIO Ron Hake, Agriculture Mech¬ anics, relaxing in the cafeteria at Four County. Each day many Edon High School students, twenty-nine to be exact, leave their home school and travel to Four County Vocational School. There they have an opporunity to take courses not offered at Edon High School, and to learn a vocation. Agriculture, Business and Office Education, Home Economics, and Trade and Industrial Education are the four major divisions of training. Altogether some thirty-four individual courses of study are offered. Through this training, work habits are developed, technical knowledge and basic performance skills are developed, and qualified people are placed in vocational job areas. ATHLETIC AWARDS The Athletic Banquet and Awards Cere¬ mony was held May 11, at 7:30 P.M. A pot luck supper was served in the High School Cafeteria, and awards were presented in the Middle School Gym¬ nasium. The guest speaker was John Stozich, Assistant Principal and Head Basketball Coach from Findlay High School, Findlay, Ohio. The subject of his speech was the importance of at¬ titude, motivation, and cooperation in the success of sports and life. Mr. Blue presents Floyd Goshorn with the Denise Dick receives a var- most valuable track player award. Barry sity cheerleading award from Lupien, Mike Huard, Dave Hug and Tom Mrs. Peugeot, advisor.
