Class History As we turn the pages of time back we find that we had a very interesting twelve years in Good Old E, H, S. In September l9h3, eleven small boys and girls entered school, Mrs. Pansy Fahler taught the following first gradersg Rema Thompson, Harold Kimrey, Sheldon anley, Jimmy Beeman, Betty Owings, Shirley Christmore, Lawrence Crowder, Lavetrice Richardson, Susie Triebel, Maxine Kemberlin, and Sue Woolard, Our next seven years flew by very fast with Mrs. Maragret Hays Cooper teaching us our second grade. Mrs, Laura Thompson was our third and fourth grade teacher. Our fifth grade teac- her was Blossom Pardue. Eva Pritchard was our sixth grade teacher, Mrs. Virginia Moon was the seventh and eighth grade teac- her. We graduated with the following students: Susie Triebel, Sheldon Manley, Harold Kimrey, Jeri Wester, Marlene Fuller, Betty Owings, Sue Woolard, Rema Thompson, Phillis Phillips, George Bozman, Danny Carrico, and Mary Triebel. Baccaleau- reate was held May 13 at the First Baptist Church with Rev, Robert Fuller giving the address, Class night was Nay 16, we presented two plays nTom y's Growing Painsn and NPa's Income gax,N Commencement Exercises were on May 17 with Dr, Lloyd ising, In September of 1951 fifteen green Freshmen started their first year of high school. The class officers were: Presi- dent, Marlene Pullerg Vice President, Shirley Brown, Secretary and Treasurer, Jeri Wester, Student Council Rep., Danny Carrico, Class Mothere were Mrs, Carrico and Mrs, Brown. Hrs, Olson was our sponsor. We were initiated on the first Friday of School, Our candidates for the carnival King and Queen were Donna Storm and Bobby Thomas, we gave a reception for the incoming Freshmen of May 13. The girls ushered at the Senior Play, Our Sophomore Class Officers were: President, Danny Carricog Vice President, Harold Kimreyg Secretary and Trea- surer, Shirley Browng Student Council, Sheldon Manley and Thompsong Sponsor, hrs. Moon, Class Mothers, Mrs. Bozman and Mrs, Fuller. We lost Jim Waugh and Mary Triebelg we gained Jerry Lackey and Martha Triebel, Girls ushered at the Junior Play, Our Sophomore King and Queen candidates were Shirley Brown and Paul Triebel. Class Officers our Junior Year: President, Bobby Thomas, Vice President, Charles Brown: Secretary and Treasurer, Donna Stormy Student Council, George Bozmang Sponsor, Mrs, Morgan: was nG1ory to Goldyn presented Jan. 7 and 8.
