Goal for Slickmen - MSA Since last year's fair season the Edmondson jayvee lacrosse team has come a long way. The team has improved in all categories under the supervision of Coach Lon Russ. The EHS stick- men opened their season on a winning note this year, defeating Severn's team 6-l. The thirty-man squad then traveled to Kenwood to give them a severe thrashing 10-0. Dave Klein scored 5 goals in that non-league contest. There was no doubt left in the mind of Coach Russ as to the ability of his team when they handed the City College Black Knights, defending MSA champs, a 9-l league-opener beating at City. This was only the second time the Collegian ,IV stickmen have been defeated in two years. A win over this highly re- garded team inspired the Edmondson squad to set their goal for the MSA title. BLOCKING ACTION by Leckert sends Linka down as Hayden approaches.
