Opening the season with victories over Doug- lass, Carver, and Southern, the natators then faltered against their strongest competition in the next seven frays to end their season with a 3-7 log. Gary Mason, backstroke star, scored the highest number of tallies, with Bill Howard second. Diving was a strong point this year, with Lee Brown and Harold Schwab teaming up to com- pile an impressive amount of points. Brown scored 43.4 points against MSA Champs St. joe for an Edmondson first to highlight the season. As expected, a great St. Joe team copped all but two events in the MSA competition trials at Mervog Poly was victorious in the others. Ed- mondson entered several of these events, but was not able to come close to its rivals. The team is looking forward to improving its record next year, but will miss Captain Bill Howard who will be graduated.
