Combining an understanding of mechanics with a sense of responsibility, our boys helped others and enjoyed doing it. Assigning lockers to every student and maintaining an accurate cross file on the entire student body were the main purposes of the locker crew. Mr. Vlooden and the crew use this file of three sets of informa- tion cards to enable students to keep the same lockers as long as they are enrolled at Edmond- son. Under the direction of Mr. Thomas Davis, the brains and brawn bovs of the Auto Club tried to learn the responsibility of driving on today's crowded highways. The eighteen enthusiastic members also learned the functions of automo- bile parts and studied safe driving practices. Headed by their president, Lee jones, the mem- bers were guided through a local auto shop to see how professional mechanics operate modern machinery. Formed last October, the club is look- ing for a program which can benefit our school T as well as the members. The new addition to the school will contain an auto shop which will provide more space and equipment for the club in their quest for experience with automobiles.
