Starting early in the fall, the yearbook staff arranged picture schedules, planned layouts, and worked out the theme for the book. Having con- tributed to Edrnondson's first annual, they had had experience with a publication of this type and, this year, undertook a larger book with a stiff cover. A summer supplement made it pos- sible to include all the year's activities. Last year in the Columbia Scholastic Press .Xs- sociation judging, The View earned a first place rating. After such a good beginning, the editors renewed their efforts to publish a memorable ac- count of our days at Edmondson. Not all the work ran smoothly. Many of the pictures were hard to crop, and sometimes copy came in late. Countless problems also faced the business staff in selling advertisements.
