Traveling ... a Favorite Hobby Mrs. Mayme Luther a person who knows all the cues ot sewing . . longs to travel . . . her flowor garden draws much of her attention . . . she enjoys a book occasionally. Miss Arta Kocken efficient school counselor . assists anyone senior or freshman helps plan proa rami for students . . . tlpo us off on jobs and such . . . enjoys traveling. Miss Frances Cowan loves to travel . . would do more of It if she had more time . . . teaches English in a way students like . . . has a pleasant personality. Miss Dorothy Wallace a now English teacher who is already popular . . . the history of the theatre interests her . . . reaas a great deal on this subject . . . loves traveling. Miss Esther Challman automobile trips are her hobby . while at school she settles down to teaching English ... is an understanding and thorough teacher. Mr. Herbert Warner a now personality at Edison . . .• teaches world history . . says his ono ambition is to travel ... Is already well-liked by students and the faculty. Mr. Robert Stewart out own chief engineer . . travel Is his main Interest ... a minor one Is fishing . . . enjoys smoking a good cigar once in a while. Mr. Roy Divers is Interested In government . . . say he Is not a politician, however .Is also interested In sports . . . volleyball and swimming are his favorites ... is fond of trips . . . toachos woodwork. Miss Stella Ballou -on of the lreshman advisers teaches C. L. P ... knits and crochets during sparo moments . . . makes a study of various countries . . . also roads. Mr . Laurel Buckle -a woman of many Interests . . . teaches civics and history . . . loves to see what other people do . . . enloys traveling to new places . . . reads a great doal and really enjoys It, too. Mrs. Laura Wilkins -enjoys any mode of traveling . . . train and steamship have been her common ones . . . would like to travel by plane, however . . . has a hobby of collecting old-fashioned tans . . . teaches sophomore English. Miss Alice Johnson faithful problem-settler for the WIZARD . . also teaches English . h is traveled a great deal . . . toured Europe last summer ... a real friend to students. Miss Edith Barton—has charge of the girls’ gym classes shows her skill as a horseback-ridm . . . enjoys golf and reading ... a friendly person whom we all like. Miss Florence Flsch -a pleasant English teacher of course, she reads and really enjoys it horseback-riding furnishes hot with plenty of exercise . . . she does some hiking, too. Miss Grace Garland makes speech and English interesting with her sunny disposition . . Glacier Park has a magnetic force for her . . . she onjcys horseback-riding ... is a real equestrienne. Miss Jean Robertson is the smiling lady in charge of sight saving classes . . . horseback-riding has a fascination for her ... is also fond of traveling . . has dono quito a bit of it, too. Miss Dorothy Lee out new lunchroom manager . . . reads a great deal . . enjoys studying nature . . . the birds and stars especially interest her . . . ts indood friondly. Miss Frances Ford teaches the girls how to cook . . . the out-of-doors is her favorite hobby . . . she especially enjoys picnics . . . has a desire to find and learn about mushrooms. Mrs. Adelta Nordby teaches evorythlnq about bookkeeping has no special sport ar a favorite . . . enjoys all outdoor sports . . . traveling is one of her ambitions Mr. Peter Guty combines history and football golfing and bowling occupy favorable positions on his list of hobbies baseball finds a place too. howovor he is a real sportsman Mr. Harry Miller tho boys' fun-loving gym instructor naturally ho is sports-minded golf and volleyball are two of his favorite sports he also coaches the gymnastic team Mr. Archie Green a world history teacher . . . golfs for exercise . . . enjoys if. too - . . history does not become boring with him as Instructor . . is really lriendly. Miss Maud Case seniors learn their higher algebra equations from her she studies bird life . . . is an oxpert golfer . . . travels, too . is always roady lor fun. GYM GLASS GERMAN CLASS OFFICE TRAINING CLASS Classes Combine Work and Play German Class Sprechen Sie Deutsch? . . . students study German grammar, read stories, sing songs, memorize poems, and listen to German records . . . an occasional movie on Germany makes the course very interesting . . . an active German club provides plenty of extra-curricular pleasure for the students studying German. Office Training Class training in office work makes the student more capable of handling an office job in real life . . . plenty of practice in typing, stencil making, etc. makes the worker efficient in every phase of office work . . . an interesting course. Gym Class thrilling basketball and diamondball games . . . studies in first aid . . . individual sports classes such as archery, ping-pong, aerial darts, and bowling . . . dance classes, both interpretive and tap . . .
