Mr. Beniamin Liemohn social advisor to the January seniors makes the physics and algebra classes interesting . . . likes many oi our (acuity membors. ho onioys hunting Mr. Charles Lein teaches biology . . . patrols the lunchroom during lunch period dosiror more book la train so he attends night school . . . duck hunting is his favortte sport, but reading and chess are o. k. also. Mr. Floyd Ray hunts and fishes a great deal . . . from tho industrial department . . . has a little business of his own outside of school . . . that Is raising bees ... Is proud of his good honey ... we can justify that. Mr. Lewis Barrett teaches biology . . . very appropriately, he follows outdoor hobbies . . . enjoys plant and animal life, hunting, and fishing . . . reading and writing also make his day full of things to do. Mr. Christopher Hamrin a sports enthusiast ... is especially fond of fishing . . muddled geometric figures soon straighten themselves out when he's around . . . aids students through his position as Youth Administrator. Mr. Gordon Sanders jolly diroctor of our grand class plays ... as a teacher he “puts across typing . . . a favorite of the students . . . will fish whenever he gots a chance. Mr. Carl Buckman mechanical drawing classes absorb his school time ... he has several interesting hobbies . . . makes his own duck decoys and ftshing baits . . . hunting and fishing make his hobby practical ... he enjoys outdoor life of any kind Mr Charlee Lombard budgets provide no difficulty for him . . knows figures backwards and forwards ... his hobbies include hunting and fishing . . . practises fishing at his summer cottage. Mr. Edgar Merriileld leaches woodwork . . . enjoys watching football and basketball games . . . would like to travel in Europe ... a thorough toachrr. Miss Anne Jacobsen -our French teacher ... is fond of canoe trips . . . likes sports in general . . . skating and swimming especially amuse her . . . reads during spare moments. Miss Ruth Lebowits -our attendance 'checker-upper . . . movies absorb some of her time . . . does find time lo road (hough ... is a sports enthusiast . . . clothes seem to have a special attraction for her. Mrs. Helen Curry helps green freshmen with C. L P. . . - basketball interests her . . . this is evidenced by her enormous scrapbook on it . . . Is a favorite with students . . . has pep galore. Mr. Homer Pile one of Edison's athletic fans . . . enjoys bowling and baseball . . . mixes his physics with his athletics . . . gels a favorable result, too ... a fun-loving person.

Sitting: Mary Harroun Mr. Ray Parkin our own basketball coach makes pen and ink sketches . . . basketball, naturally, la his hobby . . . however, he enioya any sport . teaches gym during school hours. Mias Emma Blrkmaler enthusiastic adviser ol the German club . . . also knows German from a to z . . . a congenial friend ... is very much interested in art and interior decorating ... a lover of good music, too. Miss Jean Toohy is at the head of our art departmon' very efficient . . . paints portraits and miniatures in spare momenta . . . sleeping really rates” with her. Miss Eva Peterson -ays that work seems to be her hobby ... is Interested in reading and art also. . . collects poems, pictures, and stories which givo a personal touch to her history classes. Mrs. Edith Gillies -is at the head of our school paper the RECORD ... is interested in china and pottery . . . the study of birds interests her ... a congenial friend . . . really a very busy person. Miss Adelaide Ber knows the German book from cover to covor . . . dramatic plays and concoits fascinate hor . . . attends many . . . visits with her friends a great deal . . . reading is another of her pastimes Mrs. Mildred Burr—one of our biology teachers . reads and dances . . . goes to concerts, especially symphonies . . . enjoys being with her husband . . . working in a laboratory fascinates hor . . . travels . . . loves the outdoor world. Mr. Elmo Lunkley our new band and orchestra Instructor . . already is a favorite with students and faculty . . . very appropriately, he enioys writing music . . says he likes to sleep Mr. Elmer Sodergren one of our men golfers . . . has recently taken ovor the choirs operettas make his mind uneasy . . . but every one has been a whale of a success we say . . . is naturally interested in music. Miss Mary Harroun -knows all the formulas and what-nots of chemistry . . . attonds concerts whenever sne can . . . reads books on religion and philosophy . . . onioys playing with hor nioce and nephews. Miss Bernice Elch one of our Enalish teachers . . . therefore naturally likes books and reading . . . listening to music is good entertainment for her ... a pleasant poison. Mr. Peter Mankowski -teaches practically all types of English . . makes all his classes alive by his glowing personality . . . enjoys golf and walking . . . music is his chief hobby, how-ovor ... he writes during spare time. Miss Mary Miller—able library assistant . . . her love for roading is probably due to hor close association with books . . . summer sports, music, and concerts attract her attention. Page 15

Miss Grace Garland makes speech and English interesting with her sunny disposition . . Glacier Park has a magnetic force for her . . . she onjcys horseback-riding ... is a real equestrienne. Miss Jean Robertson is the smiling lady in charge of sight saving classes . . . horseback-riding has a fascination for her ... is also fond of traveling . . has dono quito a bit of it, too. Miss Dorothy Lee out new lunchroom manager . . . reads a great deal . . enjoys studying nature . . . the birds and stars especially interest her . . . ts indood friondly. Miss Frances Ford teaches the girls how to cook . . . the out-of-doors is her favorite hobby . . . she especially enjoys picnics . . . has a desire to find and learn about mushrooms. Mrs. Adelta Nordby teaches evorythlnq about bookkeeping has no special sport ar a favorite . . . enjoys all outdoor sports . . . traveling is one of her ambitions Mr. Peter Guty combines history and football golfing and bowling occupy favorable positions on his list of hobbies baseball finds a place too. howovor he is a real sportsman Mr. Harry Miller tho boys' fun-loving gym instructor naturally ho is sports-minded golf and volleyball are two of his favorite sports he also coaches the gymnastic team Mr. Archie Green a world history teacher . . . golfs for exercise . . . enjoys if. too - . . history does not become boring with him as Instructor . . is really lriendly.
