Brotherhood Day . . a satirical gridiron . . homeroom Competition . Edison Week . . . Activities, assemblies, and contests enough for every student were the hall- mark of Edison Week. The annual Broth- erhood Breakfast inspired students as Rev. Larry Ford spoke on the theme, A Friend Is Someone Who Likes You. The Gridiron provided frolicsome follies for all, while the school spirit, talent, and superlative assemblies gave classmates an appreciated break from classes. The pool, bowling, and door decorating con- tests kept competitive spirits keen and the advent of the Mr. Edison and his dog look-alike contest marked the start of a new tradition for Edison Week. The week concluded as students bestowed their highest title of Mr. Edison IX upon Grant Hall. e bowling tournament gave Bob Johnson a chance to improve the fortunes of his homeroom. i l As he spoke at the Brotherhood Breakfast, Reverend Larry Ford showed an understanding of students.
