Varsity Is Class Of Sunset League The Varsity Track team was expect- ed to easily win the Sunset League ti- tle. The team was led by the awesome distance running of nationally ranked Jon Butler. Melvin Jackson, Duaine Jackson, and Ken Johnson paced the sprinters as they dominated other Sun- set League teams. Richard Chang (high jump). Rich Forsythe (pole vault), and Rich Ponder (shot put) were the leaders in their individual events. The Junior Varsity and Frosh Soph squads also fared well in league aided by coac Foster.
