Class Poem As freshmen we were so very pleased At last in Edison High to be, But we were so ill at ease When a senior we chanced to see. As sophomores, no longer green, In our classes we’d sit and dream Not of knights in armor green But the captain of our team. Then as juniors we awoke one morn “Two high school years are gone,” we sigh We planned with pride our annual Prom As the close of school drew nigh. How thrilled we were to be a senior Our last and most important year; As we travel life’s path in the future, Our Edison days we ’ll hold most dear.
