7 CA: c wa . ,A ,b ,saga 1 3 F, Kappa Delta Phi Fraternity, was elected Queen to pre- side over the parade, the football game and the Home- coming Ball. Her two ladies-in-waiting were Paula Meer- dink and Christy Vance. The parade of fourteen floats featured many of the out- standing myths of ancient Greece and Rome. Taking flrst place was The Abduction of Peresphonew created by the men of Delta Sigma Phi. Second place was won by the men of Sigma Tau Gamma with the gigantic rendition of Gyclops.'7 Pandora's Boxl' gave third honors to the girls of Alpha Gamma Delta. That evening the E Club Ball highlighted the dayls events with the crowning of the Queen and the presentation of her court to the dancers. gg. 1 The striking feature of tht- first place float, The Abduction of Peresphone. were the galloping horses inadz- of black crepe paper. 3 The hateful qualities of Human Nature crawled out of Pandora's to plague mankind.
