When the entire staff simultaneously succumbed to the Russian Flu, nightmares of an August yearbook kept the hardiest of us toilin away to meet the deadline. Amidst all the chaos, we still enjoyed many moments of hilarity and creativity. As newly exploitable slaves, we first worked to exhaustion putting out the summer supplement - and then we realized there was a real yearbook to produce too. Once the yearbook office was finished, and we had learned to traipse in and out of the Blier's abode without being too disruptive, the long hard struggle began. 4 A Yearbook is more than an autograph book or a scrapbook. It is a work of art that tries to capture the human drama that unfolds each day. It tries to express the feelings of the people, the activities, buildings and experiences that make up each school year. It strives to grab from the air the intangible and to put it down on paper -to be ours forever, so that this year can be with us tomorrowin all its glory and wonder. Our yearbook marks the end and the beginning of a stage in our lives. P.
