In years prior to this one, people passed the soda machine, saying all the G.O. did this year was fill the soda machine. Well, without that task to perform this year, the G.O. did wonderful things like extended late arrivals, local exchanges, movies like The Front, White Fire initiating the first dance of the year, Blue and White Day, Fifties week, sharing the Gong Show with the senior class, and executing the Dance Marathon. The G.O. was rewarded for its good works byfathe Board 5 the G.O. was given 5500.00 The G.O. also benevolently supported school publications. . .'
