FRESHMAN CLASS In the beginning of the freshman year there were fifteen students. Seven new students entered our class during the year. They were Bill Foster. Dennis Schultz, Shirley Bolin, Davie Correa, Donald and James Herrin, and Mary Sue Findlay. James and Donald left after a month of school. The freshman initiation was held on October 13. A party was held afterward. At the freshman return party we had a dance and served refreshments. Our class advisor was Miss Bloomstrand. At the beginning of the school year we elected officers. Jim Tolan and Russell Sloop. We initiated the freshmen on October 13, and had the party the same night. Later we had a baked food sale to raise more money. Our class advisor is Mr. Norm Bergstrom. Our class motto is: In Ourselves Our Future Lies. Our class colors are lavender and yellow.
