Senior (’lass History On September 6, 1947, thirteen green freshmen started their first year in high school They were Dick Snow, Katie Marlnee, Argel Collinsworth, Barbara Vohs, Shirley Cunha, Grace Abercrombie, Joe Ray Tolar, Lawrence Berry, Harry Browning, Betty Bowman, Kaye McAfee, Betty Stevens, and Adell Graham Shortly after school started Betty Stevens left our class and went to another school Harry Browning left our class in the middle of our sophomore year On September 3, 1948 twelve juniors began a new school year. Jeanette Ellis, from California, joined our class Soon after school started Barbara Vohs was promoted to the senior class. Barbara was not to receive any grade below 2 in any subject if she was to graduate. Later in our junior year we lost Adell Graham Adell decided to take a turn at married life. Adell's now married to Bob Hale. Our senior year started off with ten seniors Our class remained the same throughout the whole year. Now after having spent four happy and eventful years in high school we hope we are ready for anything which may be ahead of us. The officers for our senior year have been: President........................ Joe Tolar Vice President Kaye McAtee Secretary and Treasurer Grace Abercrombie Our class advisors for this year were Mr. Center and Mr. DeLap.
