Illustrated Lessons The introduction of illustrated lessons in various subjects during the past year has brought with it increased incentive for learning and consequently better achievements. In some classes even motion pictures have been shown. Eng- lish and History classes in particular have adopted this method of teaching. 0ccupation.al Courses A few years ago an experimental course in Occupations was added to the curriculum of Eau Claire High School. This course has developed into one of the most practical offered. A very detailed study of the various occupations which students might take up in later life, is made possible by the use of a special library lcept for that purpose. Laboratory Erperimeuting Our Science Department is constantly broadening its held and offering more opportunities for the scientihcally-in- clined student. The addition of new and improved equipment presents an up- to-date and extremely interesting course. Evidence of this fact is shown in thc ever increasing number of students en- rolling in these courses, many students taking two or three sciences. Booster Club The Booster Club of Eau Claire High School has proved itself a definite suc- cess. It has been very beneficial in many respects. This system has made it pos- sible for students to attend all school activities at a nominal costg it has given training to commercial studentsg and last but not least, it has simplihed the finan- cial management of extra curricular activities. pdgt7Z ADMINISTRATION
