Your untiring effort and interest has not gone unnoticed. We may not fully realize the time and dedication which you have devoted to us and our interests, but by this dedication we gratefully acknowledge your inspiration.

ry Mr. John B. Vermilyn Superintendent of Eau Claire Public Schools SUPERINTENDENT'S MESSAGE This year will be one we will long remember, if for no other reason than the weather. Never in recorded school history has inclement weather forced the closing of schools for as great amount of time as it has this year. The problem seemed to be that no one could do a thing about it! In spite of all this, great strides have been made in our school community. Money for an addition to the Elementary School building has been voted by the people. We have a strong, dedicated school staff. Plans have been made to organize two Special Education rooms for next year. Currently, reorganization of area school districts is being studied. I am sure that through the combined efforts of all concerned, the Eau Claire Public Schools will continue to progress in a satisfactory manner.
