DEDICATION In appreciation, we, the Class of 1960, dedicate this Beaver Tales to Mrs. McNeely who has made our last year of high school the happiest of our lives. We have taken our problems to her and she has always been ready to aid us in any possible way. Not only has she shared our sorrows but our joys. She-has given of her time and effort to guide us along the path to becoming better people. This is just a small token to show our gratitude.

 Although we as a nation have always been keenly interested in our schools, the launching of Sputnik’ made everyone especially aware of the importance of education. We are beginning to realize that the very existence of our country and its form of government may well depend on our Educational System. Therefore let each Community resolve to furnish its youth with the facilities and personnel so that each one can have the opportunity of developing his powers to his fullest extent--it is only by giving our youth its opportunity that our country can maintain its rightful place in this space-age.
